Morning Tour - Your friendly Maori guides will escort you onto sacred Parihaka Pa - the Hidden City Reputedly, once the nation's largest fortified city. Let mother nature embrace you at the Kauri Park 'canopy' walk in the legendary Paranui Valley. See the beautiful Whangarei Harbour and mystical Mt. Manaia. "Sacred Sites" and includes a little European settler history.

Capture the Maori Tour from 9.30am - 12.30pm, next enjoy a light lunch provided by friendly staff at Annie Rose Art glass studio and gallery.
Then for an hour you will be fusing a pendant taonga ( treasured art piece) working with rich exotic hot glass that comes in an array of beautiful colours. Using millifiore or silver to incorporate a Maori design such as a koru or silver fern.
Upon completion of the fusion you will spend two hours creating stunning but simple beads out of Venetian glass. Even if you think you are not creative the experience will have you wishing for more - once you see the outcome of your own unique style..

This Cultural Creative tour runs on Mondays and Wednesdays or by prior booking.

Payments can be made by CASH to the Driver and will be GST receipted.

CANCELLATION and REFUND Policy : Full Refund for 24 hour or more notice of cancellation.
50% Refund for less than 24 hour notice of cancellation.
Same day or earlier reschedule of Tour will incur no additional charges.
